Bush-ite Oz "Seinfeld election" IGNORES US Asian Holocaust

advertisement

Former Labor leader Mark Latham describes current Australian (Oz) Federal election campaign as a greedy "Seinfeld election about nothing". Bush-ite media and politicians IGNORE US Asian Holocaust (8 million dead).

Authoritative estimates of non-violent post-invasion excess deaths in Occupied Iraq as of November 2007 are of 0.7 million (from the latest UN Population Division data) and of 0.8 million (calculated from United Nations Children's Fund, UNICEF, data on post-invasion under-5 year old infant deaths; for impoverished Third World countries the under-5 infant deaths are about 0.7 of the total excess deaths, as described in "A Layperson's Guide to counting Iraq deaths": http://mwcnews.net/content/view/5872/26/ ).

From this one can estimate total post-invasion violent and non-violent occupied Iraqi excess deaths and these clearly range from 0.7 million + 0.8 million = 1.5 million (minimum estimate) to 0.8 million + 1.2 million = 2.0 million (upper estimate) (see "Iraq; Genocide by all definition. Bush's Iraq War. 2 million Iraqi excess deaths": http://mwcnews.net/content/view/17066/42/ ).

Consult UNICEF (see: http://www.unicef.org/infobycountry
/afghanistan_statistics.html ) and you will find the estimate that 370,000 under-5 year old infants die each year in Occupied Afghanistan. From an exhaustive country-by-country analysis of excess death (avoidable death, death that should not have happened) it can be determined that for impoverished, worst case Third world countries the under-5 infant deaths are about 0.7 of total non-violent excess deaths (see "Layperson's "A Layperson's Guide to counting Iraq deaths": http://mwcnews.net/content/view/5872/26/ ). Accordingly we can estimate that total post-invasion non-violent excess deaths in Occupied Afghanistan after 6.1 years of war total 370,000 x 6.1 / 0.7 = 3.2 million.

ASSUMING roughly 1 violent death for every non-violent avoidable death (as in US-occupied Occupied Iraq as detailed below) yields an estimate of post-invasion VIOLENT excess deaths in Occupied Afghanistan of about 3 million and accordingly a total of 3.0 million + 3.2 million = 6.2 million excess deaths - more than the number of Jews who died in the World War 2 Jewish Holocaust (6 million) or the number of Bengalis who died in the man-made, WW2 Bengali Holocaust, the WW2 Bengal Famine in British-ruled India (4 million victims).

Bush-ite Australia is thus complicit in 5- 8 million violent and non-violent post-invasion excess deaths in the Occupied Iraqi and Afghan Territories (see: http://www.countercurrents.org/polya081107.htm ). Bush-ite Australia has been involved in all post-1950 US Asian wars (total Indigenous Asian excess deaths upper estimate as of November 2007 - 25 million).

The former Australian Labor Party Leader Mark Latham (defeated in the 2004 Federal Election that involved the outrageous intervention of the Bush US Ambassador) has slammed the Federal Election campaign between the 2 extreme right-wing major Parties as "a Seinfeld election, a show about nothing … The dominant ethos is greed, not generosity ... I expect a Labor administration to be even more timid, more conservative."

Illustrative of this a-moral greed is how the Major Parties completely IGNORE the carnage of the Bush War on Terror – 8 million excess deaths in the Bush Asian Holocaust (the Coalition will continue war in Occupied Iraq and Occupied Afghanistan; the Labor Opposition under Religious Right Rudd (R3) wants to get out of Iraq but INCREASE Australian involvement in war in Afghanistan (SEE CARTOON). The Greens and Democrats are opposed to these wars.

The following LETTER is self-explanatory and was variously sent to Mainstream media, politicians and others around Australia and the world on 10 November, 2007 (with the request to please publish or otherwise disseminate to everyone they can – and the admonition "we cannot walk by on the other side"):

Dear Sir, Madam, Dr, Senator, Mr, Ms etc

Former Australian Labor Party Leader of the Opposition Mark Latham has correctly slammed both the governing Bush-ite Coalition and the timid, poll-driven Labor Opposition for their conduct in the 2007 Australian Federal Election Campaign in calling it "a Seinfeld election, a show about nothing" and declaring that "The dominant ethos is greed, not generosity ... I expect a Labor administration to be even more timid, more conservative." (see: http://abc.net.au/news/stories/2007/11/09/2086066.htm?section=justin )

This is most clearly seen in the Liberal-National Party Coalition and Labor (Lib-Lab) policy of "don't mention the war" - advice actually offered by Mark Latham to the Labor Party in the very last paragraph of his 2005 book "The Latham Diaries": "And, finally, stay away from Iraq – this is not a vote switching issue … We don't have enough people in this country who believe in an independent foreign policy, that's the truth if it."

"The truth of it" as assessed from the latest medical literature, UN reports and UK ORB corporate research is that post-invasion, violent and non-violent excess deaths in the Occupied Iraqi and Afghan Territories now total 1.5-2.0 million and 3.2-6.0 million, respectively (see: "US Alliance Afghan Genocide – 6 million excess deaths?": http://www.countercurrents.org/polya081107.htm ).

The cause of the horrendous non-violent deaths in the Occupied Iraqi and Afghan Territories is the war criminal Occupier violation of the Geneva Convention that demands that an Occupier provides life-sustaining food and medical requisites "to the fullest extent of the means available to it.". The reality (from the World Health Organization) is that the "annual total per capita medical expenditure" permitted in Occupied Iraq by the US Coalition is $135 (2004) as compared to $19 (Occupied Afghanistan), $2,560 (UK), $3,123 (Australia) and $6,096 (the US) (see "United State Terrorism: 8 million deaths & Media Holocaust denial": http://mwcnews.net/content/view/17139/42/ ).

Internationally, if not within racist White Australia, expert reports about the horrendous carnage of the Bush War on Terror (in reality a cowardly, racist War on Arab, Muslim, Asian and Non-European Women and Children) are penetrating the Mainstream media Wall of Silence. "The truth of it" will out just as the horrors of the Jewish Holocaust (6 million dead) were revealed post-1945 by international media and war crimes trials. The lying, racist, holocaust-complicit, holocaust-ignoring, Mainstream media, politicians and voters of racist White Australia cannot hope to indefinitely evade international economic and judicial sanctions.

Yours sincerely,
Dr Gideon Polya

I see Al-Qaeda have left Iraq and are now moving into Pakistan, NATO are going to have a hard time explaining why they are in Afghanistan when Pakistan and Georgia have bothexpled the US NATO contingent.

--------

Pervez Musharraf's forces have done little to stop the Taliban from taking control of new areas of Pakistan. This report comes from the Swat Valley, once a popular tourist destination, which has come increasingly under the grip of the Taliban.

If Pervez Musharraf has been cracking down on militants, it certainly isn't evident here. Once one of Pakistan's most popular tourist stops, especially for hikers, the Swat Valley has now been almost entirely taken over by the Taliban. This local police station now has a sign that says 'Taliban station'. What is so significant about the Taliban moving here in the Swat Valley is that we are far from the Afghan border, deep into Pakistan, and yet this area is looking more and more like Afghanistan under Taliban rule. Girls' schools have been ransacked and closed, bombers have staged attacks and stores have been shuttered. One of the few businesses we found still open - this shop that sells Islamic CDs. Both US and Pakistani officials tell us they have no doubt that the Taliban here has backing from al-Qaeda. What you're looking at just across the river is the local Taliban headquarters, also the home of the local Taliban leader. We are standing in a park. Families used to come here, but not any more - they've closed it down. People are terrified here. Of the more than 1.5 million who live here, more than 200,000 have fled. Today we saw long lines of vehicles with families and their belongings packed on top evacuating Swat Valley. And the Taliban has had no trouble scaring away or slaughtering Pakistan government forces. A dozen were publicly beheaded in recent weeks. Scores were taken hostage. People we talk to blame one man for the problems here.

MAN: Musharraf we dislike.

JOURNALIST: You don't like Musharraf?

MAN: No, we don't like.

There is talk that President Musharraf may soon mount a major operation here to show that his emergency decree is indeed intended to battle extremists. But most people here want to know why he hasn't acted sooner.

GideonI applud both the content and tone of your article here. It highlights the harm that the so called war on terror has had on innocent civilians. I also agree with Mark Latham I can see Kevin Rudd taking a very conservative softly softly approach at the battlers expense...

Rudd is a rightist, but Gillard is not, we shall see what happens if they get elected, I dont think it will be a happy union.
