Australia will delay announcing its 2020 greenhouse target until December 15, 3 days after the UN Climate summit in Poznan concludes and despite prior assurances that it WOULD announce them at Poznan.

This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

Climate criminal Australia is the world's #1 coal exporter and leads the world in "annual per capita Domestic and Exported greenhouse gas pollution".

Using US Energy Information Administration (US EIA) and Australian Bureau for Agriculltural and Resource Economics (ABARE) projections one can estimate that Australia's "annual per capita Domestic plus Exported greenhouse gas emissions" in tonne CO2-e per person per year totalled 53.5 (2007) and 54.6 (2008) – and are projected to increase to 57.0 tonne CO2-e per person per year in 2009 as compared to the 2005 OECD average of 14.0 and the World average of 6.6 tonne CO2-e per person per year (for details and documentation see Yarra Valley Climate Action Group analysis: Australia INCREASED Greenhouse Gas Pollution in 2008 by 2% over 2007 value ).

Australia under the new right wing, Bush-ite Labor Government helped the US wreck the Bali Climate Conference (December 2007) by refusing to specify targets (see: Climate criminal, Bali-wrecker Rudd Australia faces World Sanctions ) and now evidently intends to help the outgoing Bush Administration wreck the Poznan Climate Summit in the same way - by refusing to specify targets.

The climate criminal policies of the extreme right wing, Bush-ite major Liberal and Labor Parties of Bush-ite Australia - collectively known as the Lib-Labs - are helping destroy Australia's Great Barrier Reef and the Murray-Darling River System as well as nelping to destroy the biosphere of the Planet.
