US Afghan Holocaust (3-7M dead) & Jewish Holocaust (5-6M dead)

It is timely to compare violent and non-violent excess deaths in the US-imposed Afghan Holocaust (3-7 million) with those in the WW2 Nazi-imposed Jewish Holocaust (5-6 million, 1 in 6 dying from deprivation).

From UN Population Division mortality and under-5 infant mortality data (see: http://esa.un.org/unpp/ ) it can be estimated that non-violent excess deaths in Occupied Afghanistan (from deprivation and deprivation-exacerbated disease) total 3.2 million, noting that excess mortality (avoidable mortality, excess death, avoidable death, deaths that should not have happened) can be defined as the difference between mortality in a country and that in a peaceful, decently run country with the same demographics (for impoverished Third World countries it is about 1.4 times the under-5 infant mortality; see " Layperson's guide to counting Iraq deaths": http://mwcnews.net/content/view/5872/26/ and my book "Body Count. Thus UNICEF (see: http://www.unicef.org/infobycountry/index.html ) informs us that 338,000 under-5 year old Occupied infants die each year, this corresponding to 338,000 x 1.4 = 473,000 NON-VIOLENT excess deaths in total each year in Occupied Afghanistan i.e. 1,296 daily and about 130,000 such deaths in the first 100 days of Obama's rule.

As for VIOLENT deaths, the problem is that the US-led Occupiers "don't do body counts" in the worlds of US General Tommy Franks. However in Occupied Iraq it is estimated from top medical epidemiological data (see Just Foreign Policy: http://www.justforeignpolicy.org/iraq/iraqdeaths.html ) that violent deaths total 1.3 million whereas non-violent excess deaths (see above) total 1 million, a ratio of 1.3. If this ratio holds for Occupied Afghanistan then post-invasion violent excess deaths total 1.3 x 3.2 million = 4.2 million.

Accordingly we can estimate that post-invasion non-violent excess deaths in Occupied Afghanistan total 3.2 million; post-invasion violent deaths may be up to about 4 million; post-invasion violent and non-violent excess deaths accordingly total 3-7 million; and post-invasion under-5 infant deaths total 2.3 million (90% avoidable due to Occupier violation of the Geneva Convention i.e. 2.1 million); in addition, refugees (including the 1.5 million Pashtuns driven from NW Pakistan under Obama's robot bombing attacks) total 4-5 million – Genocide as defined by Article 2 of the UN Genocide Convention (see: http://www.edwebproject.org/sideshow/genocide/convention.html ).

According to Article 2 of the UN Genocide Convention: " In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial or religious group, as such: a) Killing members of the group; b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group; c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part; d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group; e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group ".

The primary reason for the huge non-violent excess deaths in Occupied Afghanistan is readily seen from WHO data (see: http://www.who.int/en/ ) which inform that "total annual per capita medical expenditure" permitted by the Occupiers in Occupied Afghanistan and Occupied Iraq are $29 and $124, respectively, as compared to $6,714 for the Occupier Country the USA – evidence of gross violation of Articles 55 and 56 of the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War (see: http://www.unhchr.ch/html/menu3/b/92.htm ) which state that the Occupier must provide life-sustaining food and medical services "to the fullest extent of the means available to it".

Articles 55 and 56 of the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War are reproduced below.

Article 55

To the fullest extent of the means available to it the Occupying Power has the duty of ensuring the food and medical supplies of the population; it should, in particular, bring in the necessary foodstuffs, medical stores and other articles if the resources of the occupied territory are inadequate.

The Occupying Power may not requisition foodstuffs, articles or medical supplies available in the occupied territory, except for use by the occupation forces and administration personnel, and then only if the requirements of the civilian population have been taken into account. Subject to the provisions of other international Conventions, the Occupying Power shall make arrangements to ensure that fair value is paid for any requisitioned goods.

The Protecting Power shall, at any time, be at liberty to verify the state of the food and medical supplies in occupied territories, except where temporary restrictions are made necessary by imperative military requirements.

Article 56

To the fullest extent of the means available to it, the Occupying Power has the duty of ensuring and maintaining, with the cooperation of national and local authorities, the medical and hospital establishments and services, public health and hygiene in the occupied territory, with particular reference to the adoption and application of the prophylactic and preventive measures necessary to combat the spread of contagious diseases and epidemics. Medical personnel of all categories shall be allowed to carry out their duties.

If new hospitals are set up in occupied territory and if the competent organs of the occupied State are not operating there, the occupying authorities shall, if necessary, grant them the recognition provided for in Article 18. In similar circumstances, the occupying authorities shall also grant recognition to hospital personnel and transport vehicles under the provisions of Articles 20 and 21.

In adopting measures of health and hygiene and in their implementation, the Occupying Power shall take into consideration the moral and ethical susceptibilities of the population of the occupied territory.

The LOWEST estimate of the violent and non-violent excess deaths Afghan Holocaust and Afghan Genocide (3.2 million) is of the same order as the number of Jews killed in the World War 2 Jewish Holocaust (5-6 million killed, 1 in 6 dying from deprivation) (see: Gilbert, M. (1969), Jewish History Atlas (Weidenfeld & Nicolson, London); Gilbert, M. (1982), Atlas of the Holocaust (Michael Joseph, London) ).

The "annual death rate" of under-5 year old Occupied Afghan infants is about 6% as compared to that of 10% for Australian prisoners of war of the Japanese in World War 2 (for which war crimes Japanese generals were tried and hanged).

Bush, Blair, Howard, Obama, Brown, Rudd, Sarkozy and Merkel, their associates and their subordinates should be arraigned before the International Criminal Court (ICC).
