Sri Lanka Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Patali Champika Ranawaka is quite correct in his condemnation of "might is right" First World climate injustice as "Climate Nazism, Climate Racism and Climate Terrorism":

"The infamous US Senate (Byrd - Hagel) Resolution stated that it was the sense of the Senate that US should not be a signatory to any protocol that did not include binding targets and time tables for developing countries (like Sri Lanka) as well. A few weeks ago, the G-8 Summit reiterated this position.

Australian and Mexican proposals to Copenhagen too have suggested a similar position. In order to cut emission levels of developed countries, developing countries too should cut their emission levels.

The USA emits over 36% of carbon and "Wyoming" the least populous state with only 495,700 people emits more carbon dioxide than 74 developing countries with a combined population of nearly 396 million.

The carbon emission of Texas with a population of 22 million, exceeds the aggregate emission of 120 developing countries with a combined population of 1.1 billion people. "
